Meg disappeared while in the care of Hayley Bovee (Hilb) & Charles Hilb, owners of Wiregrass K9s Training & Boarding - an unlicensed and uninsured business - then located on Green St in Daleville, Dale Co, AL (now located in Chancellor, AL) on 9/22/22.
Bovee (Hilb) opened a door without paying attention or ensuring Meg was secured and Meg allegedly ran out from behind Bovee (Hilb) and into the woods. A lawsuit was filed and the Geneva Co Court of AL awarded a judgment 11/07/24 against Bovee (Hilb) and Wiregrass K9s Training & Boarding for breach of duty and breach of contract. Bovee (Hilb) has made no effort to pay this judgment to date, has ignored multiple attempts to resolve, removed Wiregrass K9s social media presence shortly after lawsuit outcome was made public, and is now involved with another grooming and boarding operation named All Fluffed Up, LLC (there is no business registered by this name with Bovee or her spouse at the incorporators, so LLC is questionable) in Chancellor, AL.
We have had 6 confirmed sightings of Meg on game cameras roughly 25 miles north from where she went missing:
12/02/22 seen at CR-310 and CR-15 in Skipperville, AL
12/15/22 seen at a hunting property off of CR-215, just south of Ariton, AL
01/13/23, 01/20/23, 01/28/23, and 02/03/23 seen four times on private property/hunting land off of E Main in Ariton, AL.
Please keep an eye out for her and call 240-434-6995 immediately with any info or sightings.
Still missing as of 03/31/26.
